BIOS Setup

To update the BIOS, you will need the new BIOS le and a ash utility, AWD-

FLASH.EXE. Please contact technical support or your sales representative for the

les.

1. Save the new BIOS le along with the ash utility AWDFLASH.EXE to a oppy

disk.

2. Reboot the system and enter the Award BIOS Setup Utility to set the rst

boot drive to “Floppy”.

3. Save the setting and reboot the system.

4. After the system booted from the oppy disk, execute the ash utility by typ-

ing AWDFLASH.EXE. The following screen will appear.

5. Type the new BIOS le name onto the gray area that is next to “File Name to

Program” then press <Enter>.
